Urban Network Selects Andy’s Man Club as new CSR Partner for 2022

Urban Network has nominated men’s mental health charity Andy’s Man Club, which aims to reduce male suicide by providing non-judgmental spaces for men to talk about their lives and challenges, as our new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partner for 2022.

Community involvement and social responsibility are huge priorities for us at Urban Network, and we feel that Andy’s Man Club is the perfect partner for us this year.

£5000 donation

To reflect our corporate commitment to the issue of men’s mental health, Urban Network is donating £5000 to Andy’s Man Club in 2022, which is sufficient funding to run one of the London clubs for a whole year, including training a facilitator and providing all the necessary resources for the group.

High proportion of men in the IT industry

We know that the IT industry still has a large proportion of men in the workforce, and as key players in the IT field Urban Network takes our responsibility to our staff and the wider community very seriously. One in four people in the UK will experience some form of mental illness during their lives, so this should be a concern for all employers and organisations.

This new CSR partnership demonstrates our commitment to supporting the charity’s work in improving male mental health, and reducing the level of male suicides. Shockingly, suicide is the main killer of men under 45.

Improving men’s mental health

Andy’s Man Club provides a safe space where men can talk honestly without fear of judgement. At Urban Network we believe that mental health, both inside and outside the workplace, is of the greatest importance, and we are excited about this opportunity to contribute to this cause.

We are very hopeful that our significant contribution of £5000 will make a real difference to the lives of men in our community.
